Kumudavalli is an advocate practicing in India, with over 8 years of experience. She specialises in International Sports law and Intellectual Property Rights law with specific interest in sports governance and regulatory compliance.

After completing her Masters in International Sports Law, she gained experience overseeing and managing the judicial bodies of the All India Football Federation (the “AIFF”) apart from handling their governance, commercial contracts and compliance related matters. She was instrumental in the smooth conduct of the AIFF elections that took place in September 2022. She was thereafter engaged in conducting the December 2022 elections of the Indian Olympic Association in pursuance of the order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

At Sarvada, she regularly advises various international sport confederations on a wide range of issues covering disciplinary actions, ethical sanctions and governance policies, national sports federations regarding their internal governance policies, conduct of elections, regulatory compliances, sporting league formation, gaining recognition from the MYAS and their respective international governing bodies apart from being a litigating lawyer. She was also involved in ensuring legal compliance for the conduct of the elections of the Paralympic Committee of India.

She has appeared before District Courts and High Courts pan India, the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, Competition Commission of India, and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne, Switzerland.
