Pooja Agarwal

Prior to joining Sarvada Legal, Pooja gained valuable experience working with diverse industries such as mining and metals, insurance, to name a few. Her main focus was to manage PAN India litigations, indirect tax planning and providing tax advisory services to various stakeholders. Additionally, she played a crucial role in developing and maintaining best practices to manage regulatory compliances.

Upon becoming a member of Sarvada’s team, Pooja handles cases where she represents clients before Indian and International authorities in their respective jurisdictions involving investigations concerning trade remedy laws such as anti-dumping duties, countervailing duties, and safeguard duties etc. Additionally, her responsibilities encompass providing advisory services to clients on a wide range of matters under various laws including Customs, GST, Foreign Trade Policy and other associated legal laws.

Pooja has represented organizations in mining and metal, chemical and steel sectors in anti-dumping, countervailing and safeguard duty investigation in multiple jurisdictions including US and India.

In addition, Pooja has advised organizations in the chemical, power and medical sectors concerning matters related to indirect taxation. Her expertise in these areas has proven instrumental in assisting her clients with their tax-related concerns.
